From the Cradle to the Grave: CD Life Cycle Brochure

The goal of this project was to create a brochure to educate consumers on the impact their purchases have on the environment. The brochure documents the life of a compact disc starting with the collection of raw materials and ending with the CD's death by throwing it away or recycling it. It was designed to be the size and shape of a CD and could be packaged with a spool of blank CD's or given away at retail stores where blank CD's are purchased, ensuring that the consumer will learn about how the production of CD's effects the planet. Also included with the broshure is a spin wheel that details the carbon footprint of computer use so that the viewer will learn the complete impact of their computer use.
